The family of a Parker pastor was struck in a head-on collision this weekend, with one dead and several other victims hospitalized.
Junior Magdaleno died after the accident Sunday afternoon on State Route 95 near the Parker Strip. He was accompanied in the vehicle by his wife, Lexi Magdaleno, and his mother, Johanna Magdaleno.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident took place at about 1:38 p.m. Sunday on State Route 95, when the driver of a station wagon suffered a medical condition. The driver’s vehicle drifted left of center, and collided head-on with Junior Magdaleno’s vehicle at milepost 148.
The driver of the station wagon was taken to a local hospital with nonfatal injuries. Junior Magdaleno was airlifted to another hospital, where he ultimately died from his injuries. Lexi Magdaleno was also airlifted to a Phoenix hospital, where she remained in critical condition as of Monday.
Junior is the son of Ruben Magdaleno, pastor of Parker’s Calvary Baptist Church. According to a statement from Calvary Baptist Church, Johanna Magdaleno, who is identified as Ruben Magdaleno’s wife and junior's mother, was released from hospital care.
The driver of the station wagon has not been identified by state officials as of Monday.

How do you suffer a medical condition? You HAVE a medical condition. You suffer a seizure or a heart attack. We’d like to know what it was. Now we have to beware the other drivers having medical conditions they don’t know driving into us.

Driver who hit them was a 77 year old white man in a silver Jeep Cherokee. I was person who called 911, first to witness crash after he nearly took numerous other lives. Victim who died was a 20 year old VETERAN.
What does the color of his skin matter? The newspaper said he had a medical episode. You think POCs don’t cause accidents? If the driver was anything but white and someone posted what color the driver was, everyone would be protesting. You also say you watched this driver almost hit others and only called 911 when he hit someone? Wow
