Lake Havasu City announced the closure of El Dorado Avenue at Dolphin Drive and the wash crossing to through traffic starting on Nov. 27.
The closure will last through late summer 2024 as crews work on wash crossing improvements and flood safety projects.
City officials are asking for residents’ patience and cooperation during construction. Motorists traveling on the street can expect temporary delays due to construction.
This closure is necessary to provide the contractor with a safe work zone in which to complete the work. Traffic cones, arrows, and other devices will delineate travel lanes.
Motorists are being encouraged to use alternate routes.
