Lake Havasu City Police officers were called to a location on the 1600 block of McCulloch Boulevard last week after receiving reports of a shoplifting incident. But now the alleged perpetrator is facing felony drug charges after she was confronted by law enforcement.

Police responded to the area after receiving reports of the alleged shoplifting incident, where officers reportedly found 26-year-old Tori N. Martinez. According to police, Martinez appeared to match witness descriptions of the suspect, and officers questioned her upon their arrival.

One has to wonder what area the defendant is “transient” from? I suspect a metropolitan area of our neighboring State of California where the “five finger discount” is an acceptable form of transacting business? Hopefully the defendant will learn that in Arizona you still have to pay for the “munchies” you eat, when you’re snorting your “METH”. [thumbup][huh][whistling][rolleyes][wink] Deaton
