Another beautiful day in Havasu...
Orchids to the man in the white truck who stopped to pick up the large item on Acoma. Clearly, it must have fallen out or off of another vehicle. I didn’t see what it was, but you probably saved someone from having an accident.
Onions to the ridiculously high prices restaurants are charging these days. No more going out for me. I’m not tipping on top of those heavy-handed prices.
Orchids to Chao Praya Thai restaurant. Your green curry soup is still the best I’ve had. Pleasant people, great food and good service. Keep the coconut milk coming!
Onions to tourists who walk in large groups taking up the entire sidewalk! Does it never occur to you others need to get by? Keep your eyes open to others around you and be considerate. I hate to have to be rude just to walk ahead of you.
Orchids to the staff at Smith’s pharmacy. No wonder their lines get long, they are the friendliest, most helpful staff in the city. The have saved me money on my prescriptions many times.
Orchids to Concierge Health. Their vitamin B shots are the best! Give them a try, you will feel so much better with a lot more energy. Kudos to my office who brings them in regularly.
Orchids to establishments that protect and care about their local customers. If you are chasing off people as a manager, the customers who spend their cash and always leave gratuity are good. If you’re defending those who self-identify as crazy with negative reputations, business will suffer.
Onions to making London Bridge Road only one lane in each direction in order to make room for bike lanes.
Orchids to Mark and John at Cleartone Hearing for their advice and service. They always go the extra mile to make customers happy.
Orchids for extending the bike lanes on London Bridge Road from Industrial Boulevard, all the way out to South Palo Verde.
Orchids to the Havasis Toy and Food Drive! What an amazing event for the kids with cookies and cocoa. So glad I was able to donate toys to this great cause.
Onions to the Christmas event with the loudest, most obnoxious woman screaming about buying tickets. The terrible food and the loud music when people were speaking as well as the scolding of a guest for not separating her tickets shows no class. Very disappointing!
